General Labor is the entry point into a construction career at Duininck. No prior experience is required, just a willingness to learn and work hard. You’ll join a crew and get hands on exposure to the day-to-day work of a job site, from equipment and materials to processes and safety practices.
As you build skills and gain experience, you’ll have the chance to grow into more specialized roles, whether that’s operating equipment, learning a trade, or moving into a leadership position on a crew. Many of Duininck’s long-tenured employees, including members of our leadership team, started out in general labor roles.
General labor positions are paid and offer some of the clearest advancement paths within the company.
