Concrete
Job Opportunities
Ready Mix Driver (CDL)
Responsible for safely transporting and delivering ready mix concrete, performing pre-trip inspections, and maintaining a clean truck. CDL Class B is required (Class A is preferred).
Concrete Plant Manager
Supports daily plant operations including batching, equipment maintenance, and quality checks to ensure accurate, on-time concrete production.
Area Manager
Leads field or plant operations overseeing crews, scheduling, safety compliance, and customer relationships.
Business Development: Sales
Grows Duininck Concrete’s customer base through relationship building, estimating, and market outreach. Knowledge of the construction
and concrete industry a plus.
Quality Control Technician
Ensures concrete mixes meet project specifications and industry standards through testing, documentation, and continuous process improvement. ACI certification a plus.
Additional Support Services
Includes dispatch, administrative, and logistics roles that keep operations running smoothly behind the scenes.
Heavy Civil
Job Opportunities
Laborers
Hands-on field work across paving, grading, and underground operations; the backbone of every successful project.
Heavy Equipment Operator
Specialized operators running graders, excavators, dozers, loaders, pavers, and more. Strong skills and field experience are a must.
Crew Lead | Foreman
Field-focused leader who guides crews day-to-day, sets the pace on the job site, and ensures quality and safety standards are met.
General Superintendents
Oversees crews, project scope, and schedules across multiple job sites to keep projects on time and on budget.
Estimator | Project Manager
Supports the full project lifecycle from bidding to closeout including public works and commercial projects. Detail-oriented and deadline-driven skills required.
CDL Driver
Responsible for hauling heavy materials across job sites operating tandems, belly dumps, distributers, water trucks, lowboys and more.
Mechanic
Shop and field-based technicians servicing trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment to keep the fleet running strong.
Safety Manager
Champions a culture of safety across all job sites managing compliance, training, incident prevention, and regulatory requirements.
Additional Support Services
Logistics, HR, accounting, and other behind-the-scenes roles that keep the division operating efficiently.
Golf
Job Opportunities
Laborer
Performs hands-on shaping, grading, seeding, and finishing work using shovels and rakes to bring golf course designs to life. Outdoor, physical, and rewarding field work.
Skilled Laborer
Supports the installation of golf course irrigation systems by assisting with pipe, valves, wiring, and sprinkler components. Performs trenching, backfilling, site cleanup, material handling, and basic equipment operation while cutting and assembling PVC/HDPE pipe.
Operator
Specialized operators running graders, excavators, dozers, loaders, and more. Strong skills and field experience are a must.
Project Superintendent
Leads on-site construction from start to finish managing crews, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships to deliver exceptional results.
Estimator
Develops accurate cost estimates for golf course projects. This role requires extensive experience in golf course construction and a deep understanding of project scopes and market conditions.
Additional Support services
Administrative, logistics, and accounting roles that keep projects organized, and the division running smoothly behind the scenes.
Our golf team works on courses across the country. All positions require extended US travel.

MEET Byron: Quality Control Manager
Byron joined Duininck as a summer intern in 2020 and never looked back. In just a few years, he worked his way from intern to QC Tech to Lab Manager, and now leads as Quality Control Manager, a role he’s held since 2023.

David Hamilton: Senior Project Manager and Manager of Survey
David Hamilton started at Duininck in April 1989 in a general labor role. His rise from the ground up is a testament to what drive and curiosity can build.

Chris Gosch: Southern Area Manager
Chris came to Duininck Concrete in 2020 as a ready-mix driver. Ten months later, he was a plant manager. Today, he leads as Southern Area Manager, overseeing operations across a wide region of the Concrete division.

Carson Forde: Assistant Superintendent
Carson started with Duininck Golf as a summer intern, not once, but twice. Those two seasons gave him a real look at the work, and he liked what he saw. He came on full time as an Assistant Superintendent and is already setting his sights on the next challenge.

Management or estimating down the road.
Drake Sharretts: Assistant Superintendent
Drake interned with Duininck Golf in the summer of 2023 and joined the team full time shortly after. Now, two-plus years in as an Assistant Superintendent, he brings a strong foundation in construction management and a clear sense of where he’s headed.

Drake’s goal is to grow into a Project Superintendent role, then move into Project Management.
Joe Schimek: Crew lead
Joe Schimek’s joined Duininck in 1996 as a laborer and steadily built his skills, advancing to Roller Operator and then Paver Operator, where he deepened his understanding of paving operations and took on greater responsibility. In 2025, he was promoted to Crew Lead, recognition of both his technical ability and the trust he earned along the way. Today, Joe leads crews and mentors others, proving that you don’t need your whole career mapped out from day one. Just a commitment to work hard, keep learning, and take opportunities as they come.
