Duininck completed a pile site expansion project at the Clara City West facility for the Southern Minnesota Beet Sugar Cooperative in Clara City, Minnesota. The 3.3 million dollar project began in the spring of 2025 and was completed in the fall of 2025, supporting expanded operational capacity at the site.
The work included extensive earthwork and paving operations, with approximately 300,000 cubic yards of material moved across the site. Construction also involved placement of 24,000 tons of asphalt, 28,000 tons of Class 5 aggregate, and installation of 1,500 linear feet of storm sewer pipe to improve site drainage and durability.
The completed pile site expansion provides increased surface area, improved drainage, and a pavement section designed to support heavy industrial traffic during peak operational periods.
