The Heron Lake–Okabena Public School project improved safe access for 139 students and staff in Heron Lake, Minnesota.
The grading team began work in early June with removal of the existing parking lot base and delivery of new material. Crews placed a new gravel base before the paving team completed the project with five inches of asphalt.
The new parking lot provides a clean, updated entrance that students, staff, and families can feel proud of when arriving at the school.
